Books from the former family library of Romeiko-Gurko now in the possession of the scientific library of Tver State Uni- versity Feoktistova I.I. Scientific Library of Tver State University, Tver. Email: feokirina@rambler.ru The collection of more than 200 books, originating from the family library of Ro- meiko-Gurko in Sakharovo Estate, is characterized. It includes books in different languages of various topics. The chronological coverage of the library is from 1740 till 1908. Books were revealed according to the signs of ownership, which are quite variable and dated from the second half of XIX till the beginning of XX centuries. Three books, presented to Iosif Vladimirovich Gurko, are found. Several books be- longed to his son, Vladimir. Key words: library of Romeiko-Gurko.
